But everyone saw another major injury coming, because of everything McCarthy has done for years. In 3 seasons he has had 5-6 significant injuries, and has missed 76 games.

He may have missed 76 games but he wasn't missed in those games. Get Rid

He was great in that West Brom game before doing his tib and fib.

Best performance from any of our midfielders last season and it lasted about an hour.

I don't disagree that when fit he is an asset to the team , the problem is.............................

I'd ban him from playing for Ireland for at least 6 months. Actually try and play 10 games in a row for the club that's been paying your wages for the past 5 years, then you can think about representing your country. I like McCarthy as a player when he's fit, he's miles ahead of Schneiderfraud, but he's simply never fit for long enough.
