My least favourite Everton player ever. Steven Gerrard could’ve weirdly signed for us at the end of his career and I’d still hat Neville more. The amount of damage him being Moyes’ toy boy caused is immeasurable.

I liked Phil Neville. Wasn't scared to put his foot in. That tackle on Ronaldo at Goodison was absolutely brilliant.

He was an embarrassment in his last season here. Walked past. Typical Everton. Always trying to avoid spending out for an upgrade until absolutely necessary...2/3 seasons after a player started to stink the place out.

That's the clubs fault. Good captain and a good defender to boot.

Yeah can understand that view, but personally can't forgive him for being such a visibly lightweight captain.

On ability and on the field performances it's a very fair shout though.
