I think a few of us have wavered own Garner in the last 12 months or so, but he's essential to us now.

He's good enough to play anywhere on the left or right flanks.

That's priceless on this league.

A very intelligent lad, and one who gets stuck in when it's called for.

….i’ve always liked him, mainly because he believes in his own ability in possession. Even under pressure he feels he can twist and turn and keep the football. Players like that are important, especially against the good teams. I also like the tempo he plays at, he’s active and wants to be involved.

To be fair to @davek he could develop into a top drawer RB. He delivers a fine cross, he wants to be involved, he’s high energy, he’s aggressive defensively and he can link with his winger.

We don’t know if he intends to leave at the end of his contract but at the very least he’s a terrific squad player. Be good news if he renews.

We have quality in depth in the middle and he's needed more at RB.

If Moyes shifts him out of that position in the next few weeks you'll know what an utter divvy he is.

It was more then just judging him at right back mate, he inverted at ti ex which helped us compete in midfield.

Dont think he made a ton of difference for this free flowing attack that some people said it would, or allow Ndiaye this emphasis to attack. Fulham were very poor, barely got out their half.

Says more about just putting a competent player on the ball there than "freeing" our attack

…..he can become a RB, though. Indeed, I think he can become a very decent RB. All FBs will get skinned but the best tend not to get skinned twice, they’re classy enough to work it out.

Thought he excelled today at RB. If Tim keeps playing like he did today, and if Rohl continues to emerge, Garner in the back might very well be the missing piece for now.

He excels anywhere he plays IMO. Whether it be at RB/WB or anywhere across the midfield. Proper footballer and we need to get him extended asap
