2025/26 James Garner

Then

The thing is, he could end up being another of Moyes favoured utility men where they don’t enough consistency in one position and it hampers their growth
If Moyes shifts him from RB it'll end his reputation for even the sycophants who believe in him.

Right back until we get one in. Has to be.

….i’ve always liked him, mainly because he believes in his own ability in possession. Even under pressure he feels he can twist and turn and keep the football. Players like that are important, especially against the good teams. I also like the tempo he plays at, he’s active and wants to be involved.

To be fair to @davek he could develop into a top drawer RB. He delivers a fine cross, he wants to be involved, he’s high energy, he’s aggressive defensively and he can link with his winger.

We don’t know if he intends to leave at the end of his contract but at the very least he’s a terrific squad player. Be good news if he renews.

….ffs Dave, don’t be so dramatic and confrontational.

Garner has been one of our most consistent midfielders, that why he plays there. The hope is, we eventually get in better so RB might be his best opportunity of even being a full international. Ian Snodin vibes.

We have quality in depth in the middle and he's needed more at RB.

If Moyes shifts him out of that position in the next few weeks you'll know what an utter divvy he is.

Dont think he made a ton of difference for this free flowing attack that some people said it would, or allow Ndiaye this emphasis to attack. Fulham were very poor, barely got out their half.

Says more about just putting a competent player on the ball there than "freeing" our attack

…..he’s not a ‘divvy’ but I think we’re ’on the same page’ with this one. I reckon he’ll be RB next game.
