Midfielders: Declan Rice, Elliot Anderson, Jude Bellingham, Jordan Henderson, James Garner, Morgan Rogers. Forwards: Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer, Anthony Gordon, Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, Marcus Rashford, Danny Welbeck.

Maybe in a physical forward league, but not international and CL stage, thats less about the physical side.

Well he plays in the same league, he's just on his way to picking up the title and Champions league still on offer.
And we can see after the World cup how he compares on the International stage.

Bruno is great at what he does, Rice does everything.

He's not great at passing, can't dribble and can't take the ball off the back four. Did you not watch him play for England at the last tournament. It was a constant debate about his inability to take the ball on the half turn. Bruno is slower for sure but is a much better all round centre mid. Scores, creates, tackles, runs the game. Different level to Rice. More like a Fabregas.

Bruno is nothing like Fabregas.

I'm not trying to big up Rice, he doesn't offer me or my team anything, but the lad has the tools..

Having someone with the character of Rice in your team will win you the league..

or be 12th in the league with a player like Bruno

Loads of straw man arguments there. Winning medals doesn't make someone a superior player, is Phil Neville better than Gerrard? I like Anderson as a player, I'd love us to sign him him. But the poster was overrating him just because he's English. He's not exceptional compared to foreign midfielders. He just stands out compared to the likes of Rice and Henderson because he is more fluid in possession. Lots of people claim Rice is the best midfielder in the world and undoubtedly world class. I disagree. I think that massively overrates him. I doubt Newcastle fans would swap Bruno for Rice and I would have Bruno here everyday of the week over Rice. You are looking at an Individual Player who is very good and easy on the eye, but in the premiership he is still playing at Newcastle at 28.

I only watch the younger age England games because I want to see our young lads, I only watched the 2 senior games this week that Garner was on the pitch and then turned over.
