Who you supported as a kid and who you ended up playing for as a pro are two completely different things.

Out of interest, why would it be important?

He is an Everton player, he is playing well enough for us to be called up to the England set up, he is most likely going to be player of the year (battling it out with Pickford). Who cares who he supported as a kid.

And if he is a Red and the Kopites came calling would he say it's the move he's always dreamed about?

What team he supported as a kid means nothing. Plenty have changed from the team they liked growing up to the team they played for.

Don't recall us ever being in the position to temp him with a move to play for us at the top level. If they offer Garner CL can't see us being able to keep him.

Don't know the guy personally so can't answer that. Seems a loyal enough person, but if we don't improve up to where he wants to or feels he deserves to be then maybe he could sign for anybody.

Not going to sit here worrying if he will sign for Liverpool. Not worth the effort, prefer to enjoy watching him play regardless of who he supported as a kid.

He went to United at seven. I read an interview ages ago where he sounded like he’d grown up as a United fan as a result and hated Lpool, so I wouldn’t worry.

I remember him signing for £9mil rising to £15mil.

I think its safe to assume we'll be paying any balance if we get Europe and he wins an England cap.

I hope so, word is Tuchel is a big fan of Garner so I hope we get too see him at some point.
