2025/26 James Garner

I'm sure he was a red....as he has never mentioned being a Blue....surely he would have said that, if he was a Blue...
He's been a bit under the media radar until know so I didn't think much about it. But the higher the profile he gets (especially if he plays well in the World Cup) it might become important.

Do we know his childhood allegiance? 🤞🏻 He wasn't a Kopite.
What team he supported as a kid means nothing. Plenty have changed from the team they liked growing up to the team they played for.

Out of interest, why would it be important?

He is an Everton player, he is playing well enough for us to be called up to the England set up, he is most likely going to be player of the year (battling it out with Pickford). Who cares who he supported as a kid.

It's one of those Q's like, it should be a nothing to see here type deal.

can social media beauts turn it into 'a [ fruitless] thing', yes.

So make a nice statement in whatever next media segment is most suitable.

Then move on... lad's having a great season, alongside KDH, JP et al.

even Beto seems to have figured out why his boots appear similar, but actually have a slightly different shape to each other.

His actions pretty much prove it doesn't matter. He's pulled on kits for Man Utd and Everton.
