The difference between some comments last week and some of the over the top ones now is laughable.

James just keeps being class, dependable and a leader for us.

It's going to really hurt him when he's not given any consideration for the World Cup squad but that utter cart horse Jordan Henderson is gifted a spot. Might take some time to get over that for him, sadly.

…..Henderson is a fine player, always been very underrated and certainly not a carthorse.

Of course there are more effective midfielders than him in the twilight of his career, but I’d be sure his inclusion is important to Tuchel in much the same way Moyes still wants Coleman involved. Whether that means they can take Henderson in a non-playing capacity, I’m not sure but he clearly has much to offer.

Of course they could. I am sure he'd welcome a fully-paid-for trip to the World Cup where he can be his inspirational self within the squad, despite himself not being picked as a squad player. If he's picked ahead of Garner then it would be a crying shame and terrible management by Tuchel.
