I’d love to see him & Onana given a run together. That’s got to be the plan with Gana being an option for tougher games rather than default starter.

I thought he was desperate tonight, and I like the lad,but his weight of pass...really poor , just was clumsy and laboured for 90 minutes, looked no different to the Rovers players, but then, most of them did. Hope it was one of those nights !.

Thought he looked lost in a midfield with 0 structure....that's on dyche for the setup...but he did himself no favours.
Looked decent at rb....better than Patterson, probably starts there at the weekend

He didn’t look decent at all at RB, that’s the anti-Patterson thing coming in. They got down that right hand side virtually unchallenged in the second half, more than the first half.

Can see there is a decent footballer there but not sure where best to play him. Probably on the right of an actual midfield 3.
Been saying for a while the midfielders we have would work better as a 3.
The problem we have though is our FB's suck. The space out wide, that that would leave would be a dream for other teams to attack into.

Nah if we had 3 midfielders then we actually have a spare man to fill the space our FB’s leave. It’s an easy solution to our ongoing problem. Because we play with 2 we can’t risk 1 of the disappearing to cover.
