Like Onana you just aren’t going to see what he might be capable of or any development under this manager. I’ve actually been encouraged this year. We need real coaching.

You aren’t and we do that’s true but he still isn’t performing to a good enough level even then. He looks very much like a player who couldn’t break into the worst united team in living memory.

Step it up second half. That’s the garner we need. Was terrific on the ball and off the ball.

Onana is the more talented player but Garner gives more effort and application. I think he's a solid but not spectacular player that will keep a midtable side ticking. If only Gueye was a bit younger and we had a better footballer in CAM than Doucoure and we would have a solid midfield.

Has took up some lovely positions today. Confidence is creeping back into the squad and he's a big beneficiary of that.
