Ignore all the hype you've read on here and it's obvious he is a very average midfielder. Technically decent enough but always struggles to impose himself on a game - a huge problem when you're playing centre mid.

I like him mare and think he has a lot of good aspects to his game.

But tonight he didn't fancy trying to win his own individual battle at all and I can't stand that.

There's no way Warrington shouldn't be given a start ahead of him or Onana after tonight.

That was as bad a midfield performance I can remember tonight from Garner....until I remember how bad Onana was as well lol

The BBC report of our match the other week called him ‘Joe Garner’, and it’s because he hasn’t done one single thing of note since he’s been here.

Like Onana you just aren’t going to see what he might be capable of or any development under this manager. I’ve actually been encouraged this year. We need real coaching.
