He’s just a very good footballer. He is one of those players that can play anywhere because his basic skills and football IQ mean he can interpret instructions and execute them.
Thing is , those players should be playing in their best position even though they can play almost anywhere.
He is a box to box player imo and will score and create double figures if played centrally

If there was one player in the last 10 years I thought we were crying out for when I watched him in his early days at Norwich it was James Maddison. I see some of the same in James Garner and hope he continues to progress in the same way.

There's an honesty in the lad's work rate that alongside his growing influence with ball is just old school awesome to watch.

My Man U mates seemed more upset at this lad leaving them than many of their more famous "superstars" who have left, it told me something.
They were also baffled at how Dyche was using him as an insurance policy to cover poor fullbacks. Last night showed where his game is.
