One thing that needs to be pointed out today are his touches. The lad looks tricky and even had some really skilled controls out of the air. He looks like the most well rounded prospect we have had in some time. He is an actual footballer like McNeil

McNeil’s close control is insane. They are both very very good in that department and give me hope we can start to break down some of the more compact defenses. Have to find our finishing boots though. Today is a good start

Sick of saying this now, he is a very tidy footballer who will do a good job wherever he is played, but, he is a central midfielder, we have very little creativity in central midfield, stop playing him wide right or right back and get him in his proper position. God knows we need someone with a football brain who can pass a football in the centre. Gueye is a liability, get him on the bench and Garner in.

I thought he worked really hard off the ball today, which is what he knows he needs to do to get into a Dyche team. It would be great if he does enough to convince the manager to play him in the middle. We are crying out for someone to get on the ball with quality in there.
