Sick of saying this now, he is a very tidy footballer who will do a good job wherever he is played, but, he is a central midfielder, we have very little creativity in central midfield, stop playing him wide right or right back and get him in his proper position. God knows we need someone with a football brain who can pass a football in the centre. Gueye is a liability, get him on the bench and Garner in.
I think if he was to play in the middle, the player sacrificed is more like to be Amadou personally.
(Agree with Garner in middle though and that Gueye has seen his best days aswell but Gueye does a specific job that no one else in the squad does.)

Very capable footballer, should be starting every week he’s fit. Great floated cross for the first and made the 3rd out of nothing through determination and then a beautifully weighted through ball with the outside of his foot. Not many in our squad can play like this fella, I like him a lot

…..if there’s a down side, he‘s not the quickest or best of runners but he has got quality in possession. Terrific how he won the ball and then passed for the DCL goal (when he had easier option to the left) which was similar to the Gueye pass that put Beto in.

Interesting that Dyche moved him Central when Onana was replaced, which suggests Dyche is not blinkered to considering him in that role. Harrison becoming available soon will push Garner down the pecking order for a right sided berth, so his opportunities may be limited to CM.
