Wasn't Sean Dyche reluctant to play Jake O'Brien, giving him hardly any game time?

I was thinking that too. Have a stormer at the back, then net the winner for us, and not from a set piece, a mazy forty-yard run, coasting past one player after another, then sliding the ball under their keeper and into the net. To be fair, I'd be happy with a header from a cornerYeah would be nice if he scored.

Dyche was reluctant to play branthwaite as well! Took Keane being injured for him to change itWasn't Sean Dyche reluctant to play Jake O'Brien, giving him hardly any game time?
Wasn’t that big a surprise really for anyone who watched him play Lescott at left back.….i’d be thinking that was largely because Tarkowski and Branthwaite were so effective. Not sure anybody except Moyes would even think of playing him at RB.
Don’t think he ever got him fit, fit, what he liked to call premier league fit.Wasn't Sean Dyche reluctant to play Jake O'Brien, giving him hardly any game time?
It was a Keane and Tarkowski partnership for 9 of the opening 10 games. Of those 9 games we conceded 16 goals and only won twice.….i’d be thinking that was largely because Tarkowski and Branthwaite were so effective. Not sure anybody except Moyes would even think of playing him at RB.
Would their managers at the time have played Jack Charlton, Bobby Moore, Franz Beckenbauer, Kevin Radcliffe, Derek Mountfield, at right back when there was an alternative that worked?Listening to what Moyes had to say about O'Brien today it's obvious that he sees Keane and Tarkowski as his preferred pair at CB in the absence of Branthwaite.
It's in ways like that he holds teams back.
This group looks ridiculously easy
Moyes is an utter plank. He just saw O'Brien get MOTM two nights earlier and then he uses his press conference to tell everyone that he did ok a couple of games last season and he played well the other night, and then tell him that the competition for CB places is fierce....oh, and that he's used him at RB but he hasn't been great this season there.Would their managers at the time have played Jack Charlton, Bobby Moore, Franz Beckenbauer, Kevin Radcliffe, Derek Mountfield, at right back when there was an alternative that worked?
Do not change the back four from Tuesday!!!!
Keane deserves credit this season, but there was 2 or 3 occasions when we saw the value of pace from the center of defence. Especially when your LB is as awful as myko.
Hopefully O'brien keeps his head up and doesn't let playing out of position get to him.
