Quite possibly his worst performance for us. That performance of his today makes me feel even less confident about the Ireland games coming up but oh well I am in for another great one there haha.

He is a 6'5 CB playing RB. Can't blame him for any catastrophes that take place in the process. There is no interplay for him and he is not an actual fullback. What is he supposed to do? Kind of just throwing him under the bus by sticking him out of position and not giving him any support.

Looked like a CB playing out of position at RB today, really exposed by the excellent Summerville and Ndiaye tiring badly. He’s been very good for a while though so let’s hope it’s a blip

Not completely convinced he’ll make a great central defender either tbh. Isn’t quick, and isn’t as good in the air as he should be.

No neither do I if the two weren’t linked, but knowing our huge issues at right back especially why wasn’t that position a priority?

Appreciate you can’t just go down your shopping list of positions and if you want Dibling you just go get it done but if that was at the cost of us having full backs for a season it’s awful business IMO.

I guess that depends on how good Dibling turns out to be, who the options at fullback this summer were and who we get next summer. We need to look at our transfers over the longer term and we just can’t judge at the moment. That Diouf looked awesome against England and I’m surprised West Ham were able to get him though.

He struggled tonight, but, I think West Ham made a conscious decision to overload down their leftwing. The game may well be up for him. Playing out of position against a speedy winger, who is being backed up by a marauding full back, his limitations as a full back are laid bare. However. He's been sussed now and the happy hammers won't be the last team who set up to profit from his shortcomings as a full back.
