Entirely depends on the system your team is playing.

For the RS a few years ago it was centre mid, they had Henderson, Wijnaldum - a lot of their threat came from Robinson and TAA.

Leverkusen last year their most important players were Grimaldo and Frimpong for example.

It’s too simplistic to say it’s the least important position, it depends how your team sets up.

Two dynamic full backs for us today and we look an entirely different team.

I wouldn't be surprised if he looked to leave for a club that would play him in his preferred position.

If we place mid to lower mid at the end of the year, we’ll be in the same predicament and unable to draw top talent. Same with a striker.
