It’s clear as day Thelwell is selecting some to all of the signings and Dyche is just doing his own thang regardless. In our current financial reality, this is not tenable.

You do start to wonder if dyche and thelwell are miles apart and dyches comments was him having a sly dig.
As you say. Everton aren't in any position to be spending 17m on a centre half and still be selecting michael keane. We needed someone to come in straight away and play.
All these comments about oh its not keanes fault etc. Almost every single Everton fan knew we'd leak goals if keane started. Years and years of it happening has proved it.
Really annoying we actually spent money and are here after two games with minus 7 goal difference.

At what cost? This team can’t start out in a hole, this team won’t climb back out of it. Really disappointed in the start to the season. A one nil is fine but we’ve gotten hammered in both games.

We don’t have the luxury of throwing away points start of season for the second season in a row due to pig headed decisions of the manager.

We got away with it last season but odds are against that happening two seasons in succession. His pig headedness will probably cost him his job and make his replacements task impossible.
