Nothing to do with the Jags injury, but yesterday I had a very interesting conversation with a leading sports nutritionist who told me that Everton are now on a par with Arsenal when it comes to sports nutrition, fitness assessment and recovery strategies.
For example players give blood samples at half-time and from the data collected their individual post match recovery programmes are calculated.
He also said that the Finch Farm facilities were considered second to none from a sports science perspective.
Then why do our players seem to take forever to come back from injuries...and then get injured again
.....que sera, sera. We are at the pointy end of the season and such things happen. JH has been extremely disappointing thus far, but he was player of the season last year. Going with Duffy will be a massive risk. I back Moyes and if these lads were good enough they would be playing, so its going to be JH. FA Cup quarter final, but he's played in a World Cup Final. He's been hopeless but lets back him to see us through.
