and jade goody is a legend cuz she has left the world a better place if they reduce the age for screening! and she was not a sicko!

Well you obviously missed the thread about her death i started in which she got battered by members on here, mainly because she was an ugly thick pig who bled money off the media just to give her sons a good future.

hence why i stayed out of it! didnt like her realy but she will go on to help millions of women! so she has left a legacy!

Ok he has done awful things and when kids are involved it is doubly bad. But he has a family too, maybe respect should go to them in their period of mourning. My dad died recently , ok he didn't do the things Jacko did , but he was no angel. But at least my family were shown the respect.
Things that happened cannot be forgotten and they shouldn't be, but for the families sake lets all show a bit of respect.

You can always turn it around, and ask whether it's fitting to create a thread offering respect to someone like Jackson? Perhaps there are some folk out there, ones that have fallen prey to people like him, that would be as offended by the gushing of sentiment regarding him, as you are by the vitriolic jokes?

Well put mate. I think it's time to walk away from this argument. We all see things from a different perspective. We are in danger of hurting friends on this forum by reminding people of their personal grief.

I am offended by some of the jokes, they are has sick as how people see Michael Jackson. You need to look at yourself when you laugh at people suffering Heart Attacks, Cancer etc. That makes yourself no better morally, than the deceased.

I reckon most of us are sickened by the things he has done. But TBH I don't think a few hours after his death is really the time. However i can understand the hostile reaction . But the family that are left behind don't need to read all this.....but there again it shouldn't be brushed under the carpet

The way I look at it. You get treated the way you treat others. What he done, that's no way for anyone to act, never mind a figure in the public eye as much as him. And then people tell me I should respect him when he dies? No thanks.

In fairness mate, that has already happened. You see people in a different light when things like this happens and it is not nice to see. This thread should have been locked to avoid the inevitable.
