Its a bit too late for him, but I do think he is better than what he has shown for most of his time here. You can't bank on this being the norm though as he hasn't played very well for the majority of his Everton career. Good luck to him. I can't see him having another go here.

Works harder than most and does the difficult things right, like plucking a pass out of the sky, his first touch controlling a pass is very good usually.
But it's the simple things that let him down, and badly. That 10 yard pass, and his crosses are awful, most go too long or to no one.
I feel for him but we need better, someone who works as hard but can at least pick out a cross, what could be easier.

This all day long, still created nothing, his crossing apart from 1 was woeful, but yes your right he was busy and ran about and controlled the ball out of the sky a couple of times

Truth is in the middle, he was probably our best player bar Myko but hardly gave O’Reilly nightmares or anything. Think he went past him once on the outside.

I've said about the left a few times, and I have a vague recollection that he did it at Leeds.
