2024/25 Jack Harrison

He started badly and had a typical 20 minutes of losing the ball and poor crossing.
He seemed to get some confidence from his nice reverse pass to Garner for a shot on goal and in the second half he was much better.
He was more direct in the second half and rather than dwelling on the ball would get the ball out of his feet and cross quickly rather than doing his normal jinking dance.
However, the caveat is that he was up against a very poor left back and he missed a great chance which should have been at least on target.
He was ok yesterday but that is set against most of his poor past performances and that is a very low bar to compare against.

He needs to go back to Leeds tout suite as soon as the final whistle blows for the end of the season.
Agreed. He played ok, but an ok performance every now and then isn’t good enough. For the record, on his stats for yesterday, he lost possession of the ball 25 times. That’s horrifying.

Ok as a squad player, but Id like another right sided Ndiaye starting - preferably pacier. I like Jacks workrate and hed always be a good option to come on to help fullback out, but hes not a starter for me if we want to improve.

Noooo. The problem with squad players, they have a habit of being on the pitch. This guy needs to be nowhere near Premier league football next season.

Harrison reminds me a lot of John Ebrell who I played with when we were kids in Eastham. Solid, dependable, got around the pitch, but no obvious flair. Obviously more special than everyone else around us at the time tho

Awful player, no amount of being a nice guy, having great hair, or speaking a bit of Spanish to a player behind Doucoure in the pecking order can change that. We surely will not go back in for him.

This.

Like a bunch of lads he's getting a run under Moyes and improving, good for him and us.

But lacks pace and agree we seem to lose possession through him.

Needs to amp up:

- guile and better passing
- snide in his game: get in the box more, draw fouls
- end product more assists and goals
- flexibility... Can he double as RB?

If he ticks 3 of those boxes for me he a very useful squad guy, for whom effort is never the issue 👍
