What a poor poor attempt at a finish it was.

Defensively worked as hard as he always does but my oh my is he waaaaaaay short of any kind of quality at the other end.

Mac I don't get this works hard defensively, to me he just runs about chasing the ball and never actually does anything defensively, out of position, literally can't remember the last time I remember him making any defensive contribution, great tackle, block etc.

Fair enough mate, stats often show stuff you miss watching live, but I still don't regard him as a good defensive player, stats will also back that up too tbh

Has to be aiming far corner with that shot so if keeper gets a touch it’s dropping to Dom or Doucoure there

Look, he won’t be back next season, he’s a necessary evil at the moment. I don’t see how you can say he’s a poor defender for a winger. 95% of that is effort in that position, which he certainly gives.

Lindstrom is defending well too, and it’s down to his effort and determination

I think it was, he had plenty of time, no one was closing him down, and he chose to shoot when falling down. He snatched at it because he doesnt really believe in himself Id guess.

Yeah, no one is blaming him for the state of our play, our results or our position in the table. He’s being criticised simply because he’s nowhere near good enough to be playing for us.
