I can't be open minded to garbage signing for Everton.
I'd be absolutely shocked if Moyes went back in for him and seen him as a viable squad option. Every single stat that a winger should be held accountable to, he is absolutely dreadful at.
There is no fee and no wage that is acceptable for signing this fella on loan again or on a permanent.
I suspect its a live option mate, at the end of the season how
Moyes used him i thought wed try and keep him, i think he likes him, i think he thinks he can rely on him, i think he likes him in a hybrid defensive role in games and he likes that option and i get the sense he thinks he can improve him.
In reality whether it happens or not I think comes down to the value proposition, there is a possibility of negoating a cut price deal here - so any deal will be based on whether its value for Everton. I dont know whether it will happen or not, but id be surprised if the manager and club didn't consider it. We also have their former CEO and negoating Guru who will know the inside thresholds and opinions at Leeds.
Hes failed here in the main, i know he a better player then hes shown here. Whether we should do it or not the vast majority will say no in isolation.
My own take is to take a very open minded and trusting view of recruitment this summer - the manager and new owners desreve that thus far. Im thinking of recruitment as an overall package and something not to be viewed in isolation on a single transfer or renewal or the merits of just one player. In Harrsions case if he comes in as one of a package of signings - at the managers request on a value deal, then im ok with that.
