2025/26 Jack Grealish

Great, he's a nice guy, he's 31 soon and a very long expensive contract for a depreciating asset is a step too far at this stage of our new regime development.
Not to mention pushing our real best player NDaiye out of his most effective position.

It's all about opinions so right now I'll agree to disagree
The 3 Amigos will do what they want to do anyway with regards to next seasons squad.
I still reckon we just loan him again next season which feels like the right compromise from all angles.

some bananas shouts in here

we've been turd going forward till today since he got injured
We've just had a straight run of 9 games without Grealish. Moyes has realised he needs to play Beto and we're moving the ball quicker. We're averaging 1.44 goals versus 1.09 for previous 22. Let's see what happens over remaining games but I'd say we're better off without him. He slows the game down.

I think you're correct about loaning him again but just like in the summer it's the wrong move. He slows the play down, doesn't score enough goals and doesn't play a full season due to injuries.

Why should Jack take a pay cut? One more year on the City money and then off to the Saudi League. For EFC it makes more sense to get Harry on a free and Tyreek on a discount.
While I can understand that argument, we are also talking about a immensely wealthy man. I have said previously that his likelable personality makes him a certain for punditry, chat shows etc. so unlike many of his peers he will likely have a lucrative career when he retires. I don’t think it beyond the realms of possibility that he decides to end his career somewhere where he is loved?
