That's sad news. I've enjoyed watching Jack Grealish play for us; he's one of those players you feel will make something positive happen every time he gets the ball. Wishing him a full recovery.

Defensive side of his game was far superior than what I thought he would be.

Still not the Grealish we seen at Villa with the sudden bursts of skill. But we got was a mature version of him, with the mindset of the City Grealish who understood small margins matter.

He’s still a very good player and great craic - given the years we’ve had mate - Evertonians deserved a hero and it’s hard not to get charmed by him on and off the pitch.

His game has changed for sure and I’m not sure he should be commanding the deal he’s on here or City.

He’s a level above anything we’ve had for a long time - but I’ve a gnawing feeling we aren’t progressing relying on players of his profile going forward as our go to difference makers, this season makes sense, for a few reasons but going forward….im not so sure.

If Moyes has any say he’ll be back I feel.
