2025/26 Jack Grealish

May have played his last game for us this season. Biggest loss of the season for me this. Even when he wasn't having a particularly good game he still had a positive impact as opposition were terrified of him and fouled him to death. The window is still open but we don't seem to be doing anything at all in this window. From Grealish to McNeil ffs.
100%
It's not an overly tough field. But he's easily one of the best players that we've had playing for us over the last decade.

No point getting our knickers in a twist about his injury, best time for it if it had to happen. Our season is already over.
No I disagree, I like how I feel when we score a goal & win games.
We need to win as many games as possible & play well, never understand the take that 'the season is over'.
Let's beat United, City, Liverpool how great would that feel?

No offence intended Neil.

Hope Grealish recovers well, we will miss him, he's been good for us.

Don't think we'll miss him as much as we think. Class player obviously but so often on a different wavelength than others. Of late hasn't influenced games as much as he did earlier in the season. Maybe N'Diaye on the left and Dibling getting a run of games on the right might be a blessing in disguise. It would be helped if we sign a specialist RB with a bit of pace saying that.

Are you saying we shouldn't get good players because the rest of them are still footballing idiots?

Season over? Should we not bother with trying to qualify for European football then?

We are currently 3 points off a Champions League spot with Ndiaye, Branthwaite, Dewsbury-Hall and Gueye all close to returning.

I think people are well within their rights to show a bit of frustration.

Hasn't influenced as much in an attacking sense, I agree. You can see his frustration during games. But when we're holding on to a lead (Villa for example) he can hold the ball and draw fouls like no other player we have. That side of him will be sorely missed.

100%

We’ve took the lead in 12 games, won 9 of them and not lost any - Grealish has played a massive part in that

He's a key reason we've been able to hold onto leads late in games. His ability to possess the ball and get fouls has been priceless - and something we haven't had in forever
