This season will just peter out in mid-table - with or without Jack. That’s fine, tbh. Luxury compared to previous seasons. I just wanted a season of watching Everton and not worrying about relegation. So did most at the club, I expect. Time to catch their breath and bed into new surroundings.
What worries me about this news is does it lower the chances of him being in our squad next season - when I’d expect a new crop of new signings and a push for Europe. He’d be even better then… should it come to pass.

I think even if he's out for a bit we can still navigate some decent results despite the significant impact he provides on the pitch

More like 12 - 14 weeks I'd say. You might be able to do some light training after 8 but very unlikely you can play

Candidly, no. But I cannot image a club being run worse than us in recent years. A doc on us would’ve been appalling.
The point is, Sunderland have a better squad than us now because they’ve not been in emergency survival mode (as a institution) for years and years.

Honestly it's worth a watch. Especially the first season.
If a club that badly ran over the last 10 years can build a balanced squad in year 1, then I dont see why we should accept all the excuses out of Everton. We just simply don't have enough players to have consistent performances over a long season.
