I know you're jesting but if people are going to use stats then it's important to give them context and align them along with others. Chances created can be a stat used to imply someone is doing better than they are as it doesn't take into consideration the quality of the chance. The xAG stat does indicate and take into consideration the quality of the chance.
As always though, stats should be used in conjunction with the eye test.
Grealish is passing both so far.

Feel sorry for the lad because he was quite late in his career getting regular call ups as well for England so his time with England has been quite short. There’s a lot of players with far less talent than him with far more caps just because their face fits better. How Jordan Henderson has the number of England caps he does I’ll never know, he was fished at international level 10 years ago when a geriatric Pirlo gave him and Gerrard the run around two tournaments in a row.
