….good read and pretty much my descriptor of him, ‘standing defenders up’ before going past as opposed to being ‘quick and direct’. I see him of more use against teams that sit in rather that a counter attacker.

His early career was all about dribbling and fast counter attack. I'd say he's (or probably more Pep) has adapted his game to a much more possession based game and suits City's style much more.

Hes very good at winning the ball high, so maybe we're hopefully trying to change our style from sitting deep.

He will absolutely help us retain possession and draw out games in winning positions - which is something we've been crying out for.
