Feel like it's more about him not having to move house tbh . He's got a baby who is not even 12-months-old.

I'm fine with that though. There will be plenty of players who won't want to move here because they'd rather live in London, or wherever. Swings and roundabouts. Where a player lives will always be a major factor in any decisions they make, so not knocking him for it, just saying it's probably what makes us so attractive to him. Obviously the fact we're a big club plays a part too. He's hardly likely to sign for Bolton so he can stay living where he does.

People underestimate the human element sometimes.

If you are already unimaginabley wealthy then an extra few bucks to uproot your family might not be right for you.

On a completely different scale but I wouldn't move to Newcastle or Southampton for an extra few hundred quid a month, my family has a home and it's worth more to me to keep the stability.
