There's no world in which we get him for 90k/week without a substantial loan fee. The package we pay will be at least upto the cost of his wages unless city get really desperate to remove his wages from the books. All imho of course
I suspect that that is correct. The deal will amount to us covering his wages whether that's made up of a loan fee and proportion of his wages or a straight loan fee. City and Everton will no doubt agree on which arrangement is better for PSR / P&L etc.
Either way £12 million is a huge sum for a player for one season but if he's the catalyst for bringing other players in , raising ambition , on field performance and this seasons outcome then he will have been worth it.
He seems motivated to come which , obviously, is great and he will immediately lift spirits and standards .
