Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

Well that’s that
Not necessarily

That's City's starting position but everyone knows they don't want Grealish. So they don't have a whole lot of power over the negotiations and will probably have to change their position.

This is not a deal that's going to happen quickly. Probably weeks of City waiting and hoping for a better offer, but ends in a deadline day loan.

I wonder if he would renegotiate his wages to make a deal happen. Sit on the bench and wave good bye to your world cup chances and make 300k or move somewhere and play and make 200k. I know that is unlikely but at this point is money or playing time more important. Reportedly, sancho was willing to renegotiate lower to move to bvb. Alexis sanchez and pogba apprently have done it in the past.

WTF does early stages even mean?. I never understand how this stuff takes so long. Surely you just ring or message the people involved and bloody ask.
Maybe it's like 12 year olds asking someone out, when you'd ask your mate to ask her mate to tell her you like her?

So Moyes phones Iraola, who then phones Arteta and when Arteta talks to Guardiola he blushes, smiles and says ''I don't know, I'll ask Jack''.

If we get Dibling, I think we will find a compromise with City. That would mean we could afford to wait and City probably don't want a disgruntled player on silly wages. They will likely be negotiated down.

I dunno mate, who is going to be more desperate on deadline day? The richest club in world football or us with 5 injuries and sitting in the bottom 3?

We’ll probably agree his full wages and to take City’s point deduction for them.
