But they were the survivors who drew completely the wrong conclusions. The victims would have sided with other victims.Everything, from their ancestors not supporting it to them siding with the butchered. Many did and would oppose it, but many took part in 1945-48 and events since.
I don’t think reference to what people’s ancestors did is in any way useful anyway for this issue, the only way this will ever be solved in any kind of positive way is for the past to be banished and those here now to sort it out fairly, in the interests of those yet to be born.
