I honestly think Harris would have attempted to slow things down when elected (she obviously couldnt do anything pre-election)- Trump is going to let the slaughter reach unimaginable levels.

I think this is a very fair comment by someone over there on this particular matter. It's my thoughts exactly but they have a way of wording and articulating it better.

No. Hamas committed a massive slaughter of civilians in a sovereign nation and took hostages. Now bombs are being dropped on them. Disinformation is being used to try to muddy the facts of this very simple situation. People who were already aligned against Israel lie incessantly to try to create a fake genocidal narrative because they're neo-Nazis who hate Jews. The war is not indiscriminate, but what critics want is literally zero civilian casualties in a dense urban environment where the main military opponent strive to create civilian casualties.

They are hypercritical of everything the IDF does and delusional about what level of precision is possible but barely care about Hamas selling aid, firing rockets from safe zones, or even committing the slaughter itself if we're being honest since they often imply it was justified for the 'oppression' of not letting groups who have it in their charter to kill all Jews to smuggle weapons or form a state to better achieve their goal. Even when they do condemn Hamas, they treat them like a force completely divorced from the will of the people, which is false. They want to insist it was a genocide because it liberates them from having to argue their position.

I think they are two terrible comments, and its hard to think why anyone who is even remotely objective would ever consider them as fair. I could dissect them each if you'd like, but if you want one sentence that proves how wrong the two comments are then here it is:

People who were already aligned against Israel lie incessantly to try to create a fake genocidal narrative because they're neo-Nazis who hate Jews.

... so if you think the level of deaths reported is excessive, or the amount of destruction is excessive, or the circumstances in which this has been carried out is anything other than "Hamas started it" then you are a neo-Nazi who hates Jews. This is a definition of Nazi that encorporates the vast majority of the world, and a majority of the people of this country. It is risible.

As i said recently enough on another thread the Palestinian authority lump in Hamas members, when they report on casualties after an attack. People don't seem to take that into consideration at all.

They don't take it into account because it is largely irrelevant.

Being a Hamas member does not justify someone's killing; fighting against the IDF doesn't justify someone's killing.
