She's not a shill mate. She is steeped in the German Green movement. This is where people who had some principles seeking power end up: supporting the system rather than representing the people who put them there. It's why the Greens are flat-lining now and the German far right are going to take up their space.

It's baffling to me that the German Greens have moved so far rightward. It's what makes me nervous about Green politics in general. I think it can lead that way under the wrong circumstances.
