I’m just not sure from the very little I have actually seen that is what could hel us at the moment.

Haven't seen him properly for a year or two but bit like hamez if we can get isco playing he can he would be another superstar, he is an absolutely majestic player

He was probably the best in his position 3-4 seasons ago.
The talent is definitely there, but whether he’s now at the age where he can rediscover consistency is up for debate

he hasn’t been helped by constantly been shifted around the pitch, playing on either wing one game then in midfield the next

We do desperately need a ball-carrier in midfield and he is that, but it’d be putting loads of onus on Allan and Doucoure - then again going forward we’d have the potential to be absolutely incredible if it clicked

just feel like we already have James who is probably slightly better than Isco, and what we really need now as a priority is a forward player with pace

Too be fair we were creaming our kecks when we knew we were bringing Gomes in, going on about how boss he was at Valencia and how he was just having a bad time at Bara because of the way he was being treated (a bit like Isco at Madrid) etc.

There is deffo a boss player in Gomes Toff, I just hope that he's not suffering from the health issues he was having at Barca.

He is a massive improvement over Gomes at this point, even overweight. He would help us absorb the pressure well and also provide another outlet for James that can turn into a quick pass down the flank to Richy

It’s always positive buying players who can play multiple positions. However, I’m always concerned when we buy players and don’t play them in their BEST position.

I love Isco and I would never say no to him because his first touch is something of beauty but the need for someone who runs in behind rather than wants the ball to his feet is needed desperately.

Isco in midfield with Gbamin and Allan could be truly wonderful.

Is it mobile enough though. He have no idea how Gbamin will be. We need mobility in this team that's my only concern otherwise we'll get overrun often. Power, pace, and aggression are the main requirements in football these days

I think with a third man in midfield who can actually move we won’t be as exposed down the right. A younger, more athletic right back would be positive too.
