Only a fool would right off a late surge from United. That redcafe place is their weirdo place isn't it?

Only a fool would write off a late surge from Fergie's Utd but you forget who is managing them. They still have to cope with the CL and their two best players regularly get crocked. Wouldn't completely write them off but they are 4th favourites

They are still capable of putting together a big run of wins though pal. Obviously I'm not too disappointed at the teething problems with the new manager but they've still got champions ingrained in their mentality. They won't win it like.

The man who finished above your lot two years on the bounce even though your lot had spent nearly 100m on new players

The biggest reason for their success was their manager not the players. They have to go on a big surge and hope the 3 teams above them all have a dip in form. Possible but improbable

erm...........

i think we know who is managing them mate.

and i think if you ask any evertonian about moyes and how his teams on average perform in the 2nd half of the season then you might see why there could be a late surge.

Are you talking about last season or the last 20 years

Both our teams haven't had a sustainable dip from the start of season so I would be surprised if we made it to the end without one mate.

Its more than the manager there that drove success, its the whole set up. Its built for success. They are not doing well right now but they still have some wonderful players. Better than both of ours on their day.

Hope you're right though.

They have to beat Olympiakos to progress though. That's not as nailed on as people might think.
It'll be nip and tuck for the rest of the season between us, the RS and Spurs. Agree that ManUre are the outsiders though.
A lot depends on whether or not Suarez stays fit or not. Also, as most RS fans would admit, he's a loose cannon. He's not gone wild this season yet, but could go off at any time.
