Losing on Saturday decreases the chances of him getting sacked next week because there is no way Mosh will sack him if we are not safe.

Better to hope for a win which would accelerate the sacking process and decrease the time before it happens.

Can't believe I've just had to try to convince people to want their own team to win, but hey, these are strange times we live in.

I want the players to down tools on Saturday, to hopefully ensure the aim of saying goodbye to SA within hours of the "performance". We can get the points to ensure our status without him. I do feel guilty hoping we don`t perform (and so I should), but I can`t help myself!
Great idea. That way we can get relegated and destroy Allardyce’s record!

To be honest, i have already invested far too much of my precious time and hard earned money to wish for another afternoon of soul crushing boredom? Is anyone on here honestly naive enough to think that a) losing on Saturday will bother Allardyce or b) convince the board that he isnt good enough?

My God, if they cant see that already, we are doomed anyway?

Just once, for what seems like the longest time, I would like to leave Goodison with everybody singing Grand Old Team as they exit down the stairs, instead having to see my poor old dad’s face distraught because the team he has supported for 80 years has hit yet another low.
