Could have used it for that Newcastle game at Goodison mind. that match alone makes it worthwhile. If we'd got 3 points in that instead of 1, we'd be in a much more secure position right now

Could of been relegated in 98 against Bolton when there goal over the line wasn't counted. It's swings and rounabouts.

Another thing i'll say is it's a 38 game season, one bad decision doesnt define your season. Our performances at Reading, Norwich, Fulham, Southampton have cost us, had we won those like we should we'd be comfortable top 4
 
I've had this conversation with you a few times, cena and I know it's something you feel strongly about but I just don't get it.

I honestly don't think it matters whether the refereeing is done by a ref with two linesmen, a ref with no linesmen, a ref with techoology, a ref with 18 linesmen, no ref and just a robot, no ref and the players police themselves, whatever. It just doesn't bother me. However the officiating is done it isn't going to ruin the game for me.

I'm just against it mate, I have my reasons as do you - to be honest though mate, I haven't got the energy to be right and argue to the very last detail, i'm not Brennan. I'm gonna make a brew and have a Dime bar.

The main argument I hear is that it will slow the game down when they check decisions

I really don't think it will. It will slow it a bit if every decision is challenged, but you can offset that by limiting the amount of challenges (Like Tennis), or limit it to certain calls (goals and penalties)

could just get the players to run faster, also cut half time down to five minutes instead of fifteen

We'l see how it pans out, if I turn out to be wrong I will hold my hands up and admit it.

I just fear it will be detrimental. Dime bar was immense mate
 

Personally I hope the first time it's ever activated is at Goodison and it comes up on the big screen saying GOOOAL!!!!!!! CENA_IS_AN_EVERTONIAN!! and loads of ribbons and balloons and **** come out of the stands but it's actually a goal for the opposition.

Weird that you knew it was against Liverpool. Hopefully they'll come up with a catchy little bit of music to play as well, maybe something like I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas.
