Having enjoyed a very god afternoon at GP yesterday and then pretty much like all supporters analyse the game to death either by replays or newspapers it seems to me that we are not given the praise for our performance that the team is due?

I don't post a lot but for those who trace my posts will know I am one of the biggest if not biggest moaner when it comes to Everton and yet the only negative I saw yesterday was our England star (not Baines, jags or Barkley but don't want to turn it into a slanging session for him). Indeed I thought although Chelski had a lot of the ball they never really seem to hurt us except when we got ourselves into a pickle and yet all stats say we got battered and pinched it with a lucky break.

All in all, a great afternoon that was only spoilt by an hours wait for a bus and her in doors having a headache, maybe in my old age I should lighten up after all its only a game..........

Bitches gonna bitch.
Moaners gonna moan.

no amount of aceness will change it.

ignore the blerts, it's the only way

Someone was on Talk Sport going on about what "Chelsea did wrong" and the mistakes they made, was as if Everton wasnt even playing, funny really

The whole of the Premier League, the promotion of the matches, all the words from the pundits.... everything is geared towards Utd/City/Chelsea/Arsenal/Spurs (and to a lesser extent Liverpool).

When we win matches like we did yesterday, we make everyone look very silly and make the 'experts' not look like experts at all.

Imagine casual fan Joe Public in Tunbridge Wells, going "How can Everton beat Chelsea? I've been told constantly they aren't on Chelsea's level?!"

What's the 'experts' response going to be - Everton are better than we said/thought? Maybe Moyes wasn't the only reason why Everton 'did well' (pats Everton on the head)? Maybe actually we overestimate how much money is a factor in the game, and that good team spirit, management, motivation and tactics (as well as some really good players - perhaps underrated?) can beat a 'top team'?

No, of course not. They're going to look at 'how Chelsea lost', rather than 'why Everton won'. It helps to preserve the status quo and gives them an escape from looking silly.

Better it's like this mate sneaking up on the rails unheralded is the way to go.

Make no mistake if we start threatening the established cnts (the talksport bookie delighted in referring to the "super 6" of chels, arse, spuds, citeh, utd,rs) the media will be all over us.

Given we're skint we don't want the money crew nicking everyone before RM has really started do we? The leathers don't do scouting anymore they just read the papers and check opta stats ffs!
