I don’t see how this Everton team currently can lay one finger on that lot let alone beat them, shocking mentality in these matches and coupled with horrific form ,it sickens me how we allow them to continually Lord it over us,these spineless players owe us ta win in this fixture at the very least

Are you forgetting the ill feeling towards him at the time? There was a vocal majority against him.

I don’t know if you attended the semi-final, but if you did, you’d be aware of the bizarre atmosphere that day. I didn’t know, or hear, a single fan who still had faith in him.

I did and I’d have kept him rather than have the succession of Koeman and Allardyce. He was a breath of fresh air after the stale and turgid last few years of Moyes reign.

We’ve won derbies when we were far worse than we are now - we took 3pts off Liverpool in 93/94, and 4pts off them in 97/98 (the two “great escape” seasons.

We were certainly worse then than we are now, but it’s an indictment of the lack of spirit we’ve seen since December that I just can’t see anything but a heavy defeat.

That said, MAYBE the players will feel like the last derby ruined the season, and will be up for revenge.

Can’t do it against Huddersfield, can’t do it against Newcastle, can’t do it against Watford; Even lost to West Ham, Leicester and Wolves, all at home.

We haven’t beaten a team which is above us in the table this season.

He was a breath of polluted air for 2 full seasons. Koeman 7th Allardyce 8th it’s still better than El Fraudo overall let alone Moyes who was the most successful manager here since 2000.

Pal you rather keep someone who got the worst ever PL home record and 29% winning rate over 2 full seasons?

Cannot even beat a team in the lower league - Millwall. We need more than a derby win for heavens sake. Silva has had plenty of time to sort out which team is the best to put out and which tactics but has failed in all respects.
