Dont lecture me on it mate. I agree that it shouldn't...but it WILL.
It won’t, just like had Martinez beaten Man Utd in the semi final, he would have been sacked still.

Had Koeman not got beaten by Arsenal, he would have been sacked.

Sam Allardyce was still Sacked, despite 8th being a respectable position, given how we started the season.

Silva is a deadman walking. It’s a matter of when, not if.

Be good if we win that then sack him, least we can look back on him with a positive and he might be welcome back to Goodison.
See Moyes will always be welcome back, but idiots like Koeman and Silva should be erased from our memories, but a derby win won't be forgot
Well that wont happen.

@Bryan is right to raise the question though. It is exaclty the kind of thinking most will have...which (and this was probably his point) underlines how short termist fans are.

Beat Utd and probably won the final against Palace...and still sacked?

Nah.

Yeah, he would have been.

The league is the bread and butter for a manager. He finished 11th and was going to follow that up with 13th, all the whole already having a relegation on his CV.

That's not why he was sacked though, i heard that Allardyce was sacked because of the amount of fans that had stopped going to the game, which is not a great look when you have desires to build a fancy new stadium yet you can't get people in the one you have already. Style of football and his constant stupid comments in the media did himself no favours either, he is his own worst enemy, it's the same at most clubs he has been at if you look tbh.

The truth doesn`t suit his narrative mate.

The two timing ditherer Moyes, taking wages from us when already knowing he was going to United, would never be welcome back in my eyes. His conning of us came back to bite him in the bum, and his succeeding jobs were all failures. His job at Everton was the best he ever had, and his overblown idea of his own importance caused him to blow it. Not for me. No thanks.

We haven't beaten them in what, 9 years?
Yep,which is absolutely ridiculous, plus we have hardly been close to or look like winning one, maybe the 2-2 and the 3-3 which we conceeded last minute a few years later at Goodison-2 wins in 13 years one of them a cup win since Andy Johnson got that 3rd v Rerina

Not a cat in hell’s chance we’ll beat RS. Even if we were better than them on the day (ha ha!) they would summon up the luck of the Gods - again - to steal the points. That’s just the way its’s gonna go. Don’t really see the point of keeping MS on until the end of the season as nothing is going to change between now and then. Get rid and give Brands the floor to himself to prove his worth by creating a Plan A for next season with a Manager he would prefer to work with. At least a caretaker manager for a dozen games or so would lift the atmosphere from the rock bottom dirge we’ve been getting since the last derby game.
