I'm losing the will to live with this quoting business.
You and others keep throwing the line about Kenwright saying he's the world's biggest Evertonian back at him. As if its his attempts at showmanship. That is INCORRECT. It is now clear it was said in a private conversation with wider context.
You really need proof that other footy owners are dodgy? Other than the three I've already quoted? Of all the various takeovers that have happened there is a minority of fans that feel their new owners have been entirely honest. You have nothing on Kenwright to say he is dodgy. JOB DONE.
Moyes accepts the reality of the situation. He's lived it an breathed it for 11 years. He knows how hard it is and would have been privvy to any meetings with prospective owners. The fact he's stayed true is important given his stock as a manager has been very high and alternative employment would have been easy to obtain. POINT MADE.
I said the image of the club is largely positive. It is. I said it should lead to better opportunities. I didn't say anything else. POINT MADE.
Don't know what you're talking about re Kavanagh or Elvis. Links please.
The AGM/Paul Gregg/Kings Dock saga is clearly more complicated than a line or two on a message board. I've not seen the dull detail or accounts. I've said previously that the board's failure to sign up to the Kings Dock scheme was a massive let-down.
You say the club hasn't moved forward an inch under Kenwright. That's patently UNTRUE. Everton is in the business of football. On the pitch we are light years ahead of where we were. The new TV rights ensure that success on the pitch - as defined by competing at the right end of the league - is all that matters in business terms. But no - folk will throw back insignificant matters like a sale and leaseback on Finch Farm as material issues. Laughable.
Next season's balance sheet will look a million times better than the one Kenwright inherited. I'm not moving any goalposts. And it is your attacks that are not working!
