I'm losing the will to live with this quoting business.

You and others keep throwing the line about Kenwright saying he's the world's biggest Evertonian back at him. As if its his attempts at showmanship. That is INCORRECT. It is now clear it was said in a private conversation with wider context.

You really need proof that other footy owners are dodgy? Other than the three I've already quoted? Of all the various takeovers that have happened there is a minority of fans that feel their new owners have been entirely honest. You have nothing on Kenwright to say he is dodgy. JOB DONE.

Moyes accepts the reality of the situation. He's lived it an breathed it for 11 years. He knows how hard it is and would have been privvy to any meetings with prospective owners. The fact he's stayed true is important given his stock as a manager has been very high and alternative employment would have been easy to obtain. POINT MADE.

I said the image of the club is largely positive. It is. I said it should lead to better opportunities. I didn't say anything else. POINT MADE.

Don't know what you're talking about re Kavanagh or Elvis. Links please.

The AGM/Paul Gregg/Kings Dock saga is clearly more complicated than a line or two on a message board. I've not seen the dull detail or accounts. I've said previously that the board's failure to sign up to the Kings Dock scheme was a massive let-down.

You say the club hasn't moved forward an inch under Kenwright. That's patently UNTRUE. Everton is in the business of football. On the pitch we are light years ahead of where we were. The new TV rights ensure that success on the pitch - as defined by competing at the right end of the league - is all that matters in business terms. But no - folk will throw back insignificant matters like a sale and leaseback on Finch Farm as material issues. Laughable.

Next season's balance sheet will look a million times better than the one Kenwright inherited. I'm not moving any goalposts. And it is your attacks that are not working!

Dell Boy

In what capacity have you met BK - bumped into him, held the toilet door open or something with a bit more substance?

Cmon then, why be shy, you,ve met him several times in what capacaity. Did you know Colin Laphan?

I'm not being shy about anything. And pack in the snide comments. I didn't see that post first time around.

I've met him a few times and believe him to be genuine.

Mate. I couldn't disagree anymore with most of those points. I've outlined reasons why. It's clear we're not changing each others minds at this point so we may as well agree to disagree. One thing I would say. You're asking me for links for stuff you don't know about, particularly the KD project.

I think if you're genuine and you want to know you can can go and find that stuff yourself and it may change your opinion markedly. The other stuffs so obvious it's not even a debate at this point. Stuff like next seasons balance sheet for instance.

I'm always wanting to be civil. I will go away and find out more about Kings Dock. I've always said that the lack of progress on that one to be is the biggest regret I have as a Blue these last 10 years.

On the other stuff yes we're best to agree to disagree.

Cheers

Dell

I've said before I don't think kenwright is the devil incarnate but I do think you've brushed over a few failings there. There is no doubt that financially the television deals are hugely beneficial but that's an achievement of the premier league rather than kenwright surely ? Kenwright did well appointing moyes and standing by him but apart from that I struggle to see his business acumen at work.

I worry about dishonesty as evidence was given (not by bill ) under oath at odds with comments made by the chairman so one of them is lying , I don't care about the niceties (or lack of them ) of business or planning practices but giving evidence under oath can't for me be lightly dismissed.

Are you talking about Elstone stating that the club wasn't for sale at the Planning Inquiry? I can only assume that technically it was correct at that particular time. I honestly don't see that as an issue at all.
