Is 7th and "Net Spend" The Only Reason To Keep Moyes

It means zilch for more than 1 reason, firstly you've ignored the fact that they were relegated when compiling your totals. The loss of 2/3rds of their TV cash is reason enough to offload a few high earners & bank some cash.....

Since their return they've broken even in terms of spend. I have no doubt their spend would be a positive number had it not been for the benevolence of our loveable neighbours.

Secondly, it means zilch, as you were stating it was profit that Ashley had taken out of NUFC, which compares to the 'generous' Kenwright & his 'investment' in playing staff  which of course isn't the case is it?

I wasn't aware I'd said that. I don't think I did, but anyway was never an intention.

I accept relegation is an issue but even without that he'd broken even on spending for a championship team. That's hardly singing from the rafters stuff is it?

Just to repeat that for all the Kenwright haters and wanting someone like Ashley to take over.

Ashley - net £19m profit since he took the club over 6 years ago. Sold its heritage down the river and generally took the p*ss out of fans at every stop

Kenwright - net £26m spend on players in last 8 years. Blue Union transcript is what it is but you could never say anything than he seems to be a genuine Blue at heart

Apologies for my simple maths but that's a difference of £45m in Kenwright's favour.

Love the fact you used 8 Years for Everton, simply so you could include the Rooney money.

Surely if your gonna compare you would do 6 Years for both?

Everton have spent Minus 1.8m.
Newcastle minus 18m.

But doesnt really matter, Newcastle spent a Season in the Championship and not many Clubs get 35m for donkeys.

Plus, Newcastle arent even close to being on our level.

You did.

Listen, Ashley has lumped over £150M of his own cash into funding NUFC & he's not taken a bean out. He might be a tasteless Cockney, but I'd take him over Kenwright & his penniless regime anyday of the week, as at least he's both willing & able to fund his own business
