Sorry mate but pushing us closer to another war is not playing a blinder. I mean where is he taking this next?

And yes in a vacuum ripping up a deal is fine but this administration has meticulously gone through and taken out everything Obama did. It's not normal.

I couldnt care less about "taking out everything Obama did", the fact is that the US voted for a new President and he legally ripped up a deal he didnt like.

Nothing wrong there.

Since then what has Iran done? Attacked ships, attacked US embassy, made lots of other threats etc etc

What has US done? Taken out their evil general for the price of a few craters in Iraq.

At this point in time Trump has played a blinder and the Iranian leadership looks hollow to its people.

Who knows whats happening next BUT at the moment Trump is on top + Iran clearly kicked the toys out of the pram when the deal was cancelled.

Im not sure how it could be seen any other way...

But how does this end? If Trump is playing a blinder like you say, what is he going to do to end this without a war and without Iran resuming there nuclear program? Are you saying that this is going to end in a regime change? I really don't see that myself.

Trump didn't like the deal because Obama made it. If it had to do with substance that would be fair. But that's not how he has been thinking about any of this. It's simply Obama=bad and he immediately cancels what he did.

I think that's grossly mischaracterizing his point. The death toll rising I'm assuming is in response to the airliner crashing, which is horrendous, however it was caused.

I think his point is Trump took out perhaps the top general and the stated Iranian response at this point is firing some warning shots and not killing anyone. If the airline crash is somehow almost 200+ innocent casualties then perhaps it is arrogant. However, that wasn't his point at all.

It seems like their was an earthquake. Can I ask why you bring this up? I know it seems crazy an airliner would crash, and an earthquake would strike a vast country. But do you care to expound on it more? I'm not sure whether you are just shocked by it or insinuating something else

Everything I've read it was a technical issue that caused it. It's not like it took off from a southeastern Asian country, and then went down in flames when it entered Iranian airspace. It's an awful event as any plane crash is, but some of you appear to be getting hyperbolic.

If it was a game of Call of Duty, I'd say he played a blinder. But since this is real life, and he's a head of state, I'd say he's been a complete calamity tbh
