I don't think koeman flipping his lid at Ireland will make a difference. Keane and O'Neill aren't paying any attention to what Everton are telling them regarding our players fitness. They were were told before that McCarthy wasn't fit for an international but they insisted he travel to be assessed by their staff. When he was looked at by the fai medical people they said he wasn't fit, exactly as Everton had said, and he was sent straight back. He'd also been out for a while last season with his hamstring when they called him up and played him twice in the space of four days. Keane especially seems to get a kick out of Everton being annoyed about our players getting injured with the fai.
