Basically saying Forest's overspend is much bigger, but let's assume some of Everton's deduction was due to misinformation, so we'll go with 6 points here too (then reduced to 4).

So...referring to our case but GUESSING why we got 6 points, and then giving 2 points back for being polite.

The verdict from the appeal specifically said Everton hadn’t acted in any bad faith. Everton even said how pleased they were this was documented. Now they’re basically saying we have them false info and use delay tactics. Which is it.
