I think he did more than that. Didn't he say in evidence that we needed to buy a midfielder? If he did, he has blown a coach and horses through our mitigation argument that there was no sporting advantage. How can you say there was no sporting advantage but we needed to buy players?

A half decent KC should make mince meat out of this whole affair. And we've got a top KC a super silk. And when he's done, the government will tear Masters in to shreds.

1. If this was in a civil court, we'd 100% get the points back. But it's not, it's just more Masters acolytes who know that overturning the decision costs them their jobs/livelihoods/reputations.

2. The government will tear Masters to shreds and the subsequent IR will completely reform the PL, though City's brown envelopes still make them immune from danger. But too late for us.

So there's hope for the game, there's hope for the top flight of English football..... but there's absolutely no hope for us sadly. It's too much too soon and too much against us.

The situation reminds me of my Gran a few months ago. Life threw just about every ailment at her, and she won and won and won. We seriously began to think she might outlive everyone.

But on the 3rd of October last year - a month short of her 91st birthday - there was, finally, too much for her body to deal with.

Eventually, there is too much against you to sustain life. And I do not see a future in which there is a prosperous Everton.

I think we will end up with 16 points deducted in total with Forest getting 6. Survival will be dependent on us finishing above Sheff United, Burnley and Forest. Sadly I think we will fall 3 or 4 points short

I wish I did not care as much about this club as I do. It spends far too much time occupying my thoughts. Given the momentum of the last few years and the way this is unraveling I don’t see how we are going to end up with a positive Conclusion this season. What is your gut telling you?
