Inception

Fully agreed, a strange type of ladies they are and no mistake. She got lash extensions or something yesterday and is still fuming as I said she looks like a rookie pornstar.

Just stay one step ahead of her in her schooling and you can get away with anything. And if you do not like the lashes, get your aim right and stick them together. ;)

No way man, I love my movies and found the concept and the film good but not great. I enjoyed it like.

Same as Avatar though, I rated that about the same. There is a growing trend lately of rating something "the best ever" when it's clearly not, it's just sensationalism or clever marketing.

Not having a go at you like as you are someone with an exquisite taste in films and stuff lid.

Agreed. Macca, movie critic legend~!

However, Inception is a good movie that is perhaps ruined by its own hype. Avatar another good movie, but I tried to watch it again the other day but turned it off. Once you have seen the special effects there is not much lasting appeal.

Of course you're not mate.

Im just mucking about, no way everyone can like the same thing, or feel the same about watching it.

Knowing a little more about the process behind the lense, I better understand the sheer amount of energy spent in realising these projects; but that doesn't qualify me to have a better view than anyone else.

A case in point is the film 'Gangs of New York'. Most people hated it, but I loved it. Theres a scene where Bill the Butcher kills the Monk after he become Mayor. To me its one of the greatest ever scenes, Bill, spitting with anger resorts to the barbaric way of old through his own choice, and because he cannot evolve. Monk, once a hired killer laughs in the face of the old ways, and meets his end because of his arrogance to the past and because his character has evolved, to his ultimate detriment. Its raw, powerful, and I amost dropped my popcorn because it resonated through me with its multiple meanings and expert delivery and technique used by everyone associated with the scene.

Whatever, there's moments like that for us all throughout movies and as individuals, some experiences are shared and others are held close to ones own.

You seem Movie knowledgeable, has there been a 3D porn film yet? If not get a patent in fast (Ahem) and send me a couple of Aussie dollars so I can buy a penny chew or two.

I don't think so yet, but I could be wrong. I'd say that'd be changing pretty soon with the advent of 3d handycams.

I'm looking more forward to the holograms I think are in 'eraser'

Super long movie, but I absolutely loved it! Can't take your eyes off the screen for more than 10 seconds or you're f**ked. There is so much detail you have to follow, but totally worth it.

Wasn't that fussed on Inception, looked nice but I could see the ending coming from the very beginning. Likewise with Shutter Island, but the lack of hype surrounding that made it much more enjoyable.

This has to be the best Easter Egg on that site.
